Change is the only constant!

We are on the cusp of a new era. The slew of increasingly quicker changes brought on as a consequence of this fundamental shift are making their impact felt on our entire existence, including our work. Understandably, this is disconcerting, because our carefully curated lives and our sense of security are no longer on an even keel.

But if you look beyond these initial fears, you’ll realise that there is no such thing as absolute security. Change is an inherent part of our lives .What’s more, change is neutral; whether it impacts us positively or negatively is entirely up to us and our overall attitude, our preparedness, our reaction and our adaptability.

At Apostroph, we see change as an opportunity; in fact, it’s part of our ethos. But does theory translate into practice as easily? Of course not! But if you want to actively shape change, then you have to embrace it.

That’s precisely why our focus for quite some time now has been the hotly debated and in part controversial topic of artificial intelligence and the upshot of new technologies, which not only impact us but also you as our customers.

Have you ever tried your hand at automated text generation? Impressive yet somewhat petrifying what machines can do these days, wouldn’t you say? But this development isn’t cause for concern. The multitude of possibilities opening up before us are nothing less than a tremendous opportunity. It’s why we are actively embracing and constantly re-examining where and when we can put these and other technologies to use in a meaningful way – to offer you, as our customer, enhanced and expedited language solutions that are tailored to meet your needs.

That being said, it has been proven time and again that without competent embedding, technology in our field delivers only limited useful results. In addition, the variety of technologies  is large and often (still) immature, and their integration into existing processes is usually very complex. 

It’s why we intentionally rely on the human touch, namely the experience and expertise of our staff, to develop bespoke technology solutions that address both your requirements and ours. What’s more, we make no compromises in this regard. To this end, we are presently testing our own language engine, which combines many of the new technologies in play.
